Act of Kindness

I had another day off from work, this will make it a four day weekend .  The great thing is that I did not use it as an excuse not to go to the gym. Not only did I get to the gym but I was able to go with Mary, it is truely a blessing to be able to workout with not only me wife but also my best-friend.  She is my No.1 fan and keeps me motivated!!

So the final snow total was 9.5 inches, I have never seen that much snow at one-time.  It is beautiful to look at especially at night, looks like the lights are on outside.  So, yesterday after shoveling our walkways and cleaning off the cars, Mary and I decided to take a little ride around the neighborhood to look at all the snow that had fallen.  While driving I told Mary we needed to do a random Act of Kindness.  She thought is would be a great thing to do, so we dicided to find somebody to help. After driving around and thinking, I knew exactly who we could help.  We have some friends that live across town from us, the husband works out of town two months at a time and the wife is a stay home mom with three little ones under-five.  It took us about 30 minutes to remove the snow from the car and sidewalk. The exercise was great, but the feeling of being able to help someone else was priceless.
